General Guidelines

• Abstracts are to be submitted online only. No abstracts shall be accepted as a email, Fax, Hard copies etc.
• The author will have an option to convey his/her preference between e-poster or physical poster while submitting the abstract
• Each PRESENTING AUTHOR can submit 2 Physical Posters out of which 1 can get selected based on the evaluation scores.
• A Physical Poster can have one presenting author and upto 3 co-authors. ( 4 authors in total )
  • One of the above 4 authors can be the presenting author of the Poster
    • He / she (which can be any of the 4 authors) MUST BE A RATIFIED MEMBER OF VOS to contest for an award.
    • If he / she is not a ratified member, the poster can be presented by the member BUT will not be considered for evaluation of any VOS award.
    • He / she has to register for the conference
    • He / she has to be physically present for the evaluation of the poster. Failing which the poster would NOT be considered for the Award.
  • Institution / hospital affiliation and doctor’s name in the title or abstract should not be mentioned and will lead to automatic rejection.
  • Scientific E-Posters, in general, have the following characteristics
    • Are presented by individuals rather than by organisations
    • Present scientific material, usually new information
    • Do not solicit members, or promote an organization. 

Abstract specific Guidelines

Abstract Title
The title of the abstract SHOULD NOT exceed 100 characters (including spaces).

Abstract body
The abstract body SHOULD NOT exceed 1000 characters (including spaces).

Poster preparation Guidelines 

• Size:-The poster should be larger the 130cm(H) and 90cm(W)(4.26ft x2.9ft) on flex board.
• Text:- The font size should not be smaller then 20 points.
• Responsibility of the presenter to ensure that poster is mounted and dismounted in the assigned time.
